The Business and Development vice Provost’s (BDVP) Office serves as the essential backbone of the college, playing a critical role in managing both the financial and human resources that drive the institution’s success. The office oversees six major directorates, each contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the college.

First, the Human Resources directorate manages a workforce of over 5,000 employees, leveraging advanced technology and streamlined workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure optimal staffing. The office also oversees the Procurement directorate, which handles the acquisition of goods and services through the use of the Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) system, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all procurement processes.

Additionally, the office manages the Ras Emiru Printing Press, a leading printing organization that not only serves the institution’s internal printing needs but also provides high-quality printing services to external customers. The ICT directorate, which falls under the office’s leadership, is dedicated to equipping the institution with cutting-edge technology and advancing the digitalization efforts across all departments.

The office also ensures a safe, organized, and productive work environment through the Facility Management directorate. This team works diligently to enhance the management and upkeep of the college’s facilities, ensuring that both employees and clients enjoy a well-maintained and functional environment.
