About Us

Meklit Mentors is an initiative of current interns and medical students at SPHMMC. It is a uniquely designed mentorship network for undergraduate medical students attending at Saint Paul’s hospital that aims to empower and guide the next generation of Ethiopian health care professionals. Meklit is a non-profit volunteer network that is governed by a board of directors who are currently fifth year (CII) medical students attending in the college.

Our vision

To empower aspiring medical students and future physicians by fostering a culture of guidance, growth, and excellence.

Program tracks

Eligible applicants can choose from six tracks of mentorship listed below:

  • Academic support and career guidance.
  • Public health and research.
  • Personal development.
  • Mental health & Psychiatric counselling.
  • USMLE and residency journey and,
  • Clinical Specialty.
