The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SPHMMC kindly invites all qualifying candidates to apply Masters in Clinical Embryology (MSc.CE) program for the year 2023/2024 G.C.
Background and General Information
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SPHMMC as mandated by the Academic Commission of the college is startingthe above-mentioned master program in upcoming academic year. The primary goal of this masters program is to produce clinical embryologists who are competent trainers, researchers, advocates, and leaders in all issues related clinical Embryology
This is a two years programs at the end of which candidates will have Masters in clinical Embryology. The training will involve Embryology lab attachments, didactic trainings (seminars, tutorials, online lectures, research training, and mentorship ), with possible attachments abroad (depending on the availability of resources and a competitive basis) attending various local and international relevant conferences. Trainees are also expected to conduct high-standard research as part of a requirement for completion of the training.

Admission Requirements
- Medical Doctors
- Doctors of Veterinary Medicine
- Biologists
- Laboratory Bachelor degree
- Other health professionals with at least 6 months of experience or formal training on clinical embryology.
- Have a BSc cumulative grade point average (CGPA) > 2.75
- Candidates who has experience in clinical embryology shall be favored
- Teaching experience in higher education institutions is favored
Provide medical certificate showing physical fitness (checked for disability of hands and finger/s, binocular vision)
- Foreign applicants are expected to produce a sponsorship letter and need to pay tuition fee set by the college

Applicants should write a letter of intent of no more than 750 words explaining why they are interested in the Masters program, how this will impact their career, and their long-term professional goals.
Applicants should submit an application letter, letter of intent, recent CV, and copy of credentials including copies of degree, student grade report, and two letters of recommendation in a sealed envelope. Application may be submitted by paper in person to the registrar directly or electronically as attached scanned documents if submitted by e-mail
